Tamo Images was founded in 2009 by Tobi Adebule, driven by his love for photography, storytelling, and creating visual content. Our mission is to make authentic African and Black imagery more accessible.
As a creative artist and brand manager, our founder has always struggled to find authentic Black and African images online, inspiring us to enter corporate and brand photography. We have spent years capturing visuals for both local and multinational brands, using photography to tell stories and connect with audiences.
Our passion also extends to development photography, and we’ve collaborated with various non-profits addressing health, human rights, and education issues. After over a decade in the media, marketing, and photography industries, we're transitioning into our first call of business: a stock image platform connecting creators, photographers, Videographers and illustrators, with both local and global brands. Our goal is to showcase Africa and Africans through images created by Africans.
Of course, we’re not alone in this journey. We’re proud to have Peter Odetayo, our co founder and CTO, who is helping us bring this vision to life.

We believe everyone has an idea, and we're here to bring them to life.

The demand for authentic, high-quality images for designs and digital marketing is increasing. People and brands are looking for more affordable and efficient ways to create their brand images and tell their compelling stories.
With the rise of technology and the continuous advancement of mobile phones, billions of beautifully captured images are shared across social platforms every day. We believe people should not only share these photos but also get paid for them.

TAMO Images, founded in 2009 by Tobi Adebule, is a creative powerhouse dedicated to authentic African storytelling through photography and visual content.
